Kanye West's infamous 'Famous' music video now on YouTube

The music video was inspired by a painting by Vincent Desiderio. The NSFW video attributes Kanye buck-naked in a large bed with daily life-like nude, prosthetic bodies of celebrities, which includes Donald Trump, Rihanna, Bill Cosby, Taylor Swift and, of program, Kim Kardashian-West. They all silently lie still in bed, seemingly breathing, tangled together in a white sheet.

Grainy, unflattering VHS-quality footage focuses on random (at times NSFW) entire body components and faces from distinct angles for about six minutes prior to the video cuts to a vivid, picturesque overhead HD shot of the exact same sleeping Kanye. The camera then gradually zooms out into a broad shot that reveals the complete tableau of bodies in the bed. The music video is heavily inspired by the 2008 painting Rest by Vincent Desiderio and the handfisted metaphor about celebrity and fame was not misplaced on audiences. (I mean, the song is known as "Popular .") Opinions on the music video have ranged from finding it provocative to judging it sickening. Kanye himself is anticipated to be sued above its controversial nature. Xiomara Blanco is an associate editor for CNET Testimonials.
